AND THE WINNER IS!!!

At the District 84 Fall Conference in November 2012, the District announced the design contest for the Triple Crown Award pin. The Triple Crown Award is a Toastmasters International award, but the District did not have a representation of the award to present to those members who achieved their educational awards. The pin will be awarded to those who complete three educational goals from 1 July to 30 June each year.

Tito Vazquez
We are pleased and excited to announce the winner of the design contest is Competent Communicator Tito Vazquez!

Tito is currently the Vice President Education of Omni Toastmasters. He has been a Toastmaster since March 2012. In this short time, he has had the privilege of participating and winning 3rd place at Fall District Humorous Speech contest (speech entitled “Warning Signs”). He recently completed the requirements for his Triple Crown Educational (CC, CL, and ALB) Award. Tito has been speaking to audiences since a teenager, and throughout his career as a Pastor and Minister.

Professionally, Tito has been a software trainer and is currently the President of 4 Pillars Consulting focusing on business image and P&P Presentations which create exciting and innovative Power Points. The idea for his Triple Crown design came from the name of the award itself...3 crowns representing 3 accomplishments in the life of a Toastmaster. Tito has been happily married for over 22 years to his inspiration and wife, Sarah.

Tito will present the pins to those who win the award before May 15th at the upcoming Spring Mardi Conference to be held May 17-18 at the Florida Hotel in the Florida Mall in Orlando. Those who win their award after May 15th will receive their pins from their Area Governors.
